How the assessment works

How the HR and Workforce Assessment Works

The assessment moves from discovery to evidence, then from evidence to a practical implementation roadmap. The process is designed to identify priorities without disrupting daily operations.

The process

Eight steps from uncertainty to priorities.

STEP 01

Introductory consultation

We discuss the organization, current concerns, workforce size, operating environment, and whether the assessment is the appropriate starting point.

STEP 02

Scope and agreement

The engagement documents define participants, requested records, responsibilities, timeline, payment, confidentiality, and deliverables.

STEP 03

Secure collection

A client-specific Microsoft SharePoint folder provides controlled access for policies, forms, job descriptions, process documents, and other agreed materials.

STEP 04

Leadership interviews

Focused conversations reveal how work is managed, where decisions occur, and where written practice differs from operating reality.

STEP 05

Infrastructure review

Records, policies, onboarding, performance, management practices, retention, compliance processes, and reporting are examined within scope.

STEP 06

Maturity scoring

Each domain is evaluated for clarity, consistency, ownership, implementation, documentation, and ability to support growth.

STEP 07

Findings report

Leadership receives a concise explanation of strengths, gaps, material risks, operating consequences, and recommended priorities.

STEP 08

Executive roadmap

A presentation and prioritized roadmap translate the findings into immediate, near-term, and longer-term actions.

What leadership receives

Evidence that leads somewhere.

The purpose is not to produce a long report that sits unused. The deliverables are designed to support decisions and implementation.

01

Workforce maturity scorecard

A structured view of current capability across the assessed domains.

02

Findings and risk report

A clear explanation of what is functioning, what is inconsistent, and what requires attention.

03

Executive presentation

A leadership discussion focused on implications, priorities, ownership, and next decisions.

04

Implementation roadmap

A sequenced plan identifying what should be addressed first and what can follow.

Investment: $1,500

A $750 non-refundable deposit schedules the engagement. The remaining $750 is due before delivery of the final findings and roadmap. Final scope, timeline, document requests, and interview participation are confirmed in the engagement documents.

Planning your engagement

Know what to expect and when.

Typical planning ranges for standard engagements. Your written proposal confirms capacity, milestones, review rounds, and delivery dates before work begins.

HR and Workforce Infrastructure Assessment

2–3 weeks

From completed document intake and leadership interviews to the findings presentation and roadmap.

Timing begins once the agreement and any required deposit are in place, materials are complete, and required discovery or interviews have occurred. Client feedback, additional locations, legal review, scope changes, and vendor schedules may extend the timeline. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.
